Q Which timber do you use ?
A - Oak, Sapele or Lyptus engineered hardwoods or engineered European Redwood, a close grain knot free fast growing timber popular in Scandinavia.

Q Engineered?
A - The timber is in three laminates where the grain goes in opposing directions to gives stability to the window.

Q Where does the wood come from ?
A - Our timber merchants carry, among other certificates, the FSC ( Forestry Stewardship Certificate ) accreditation which gives the timber a chain of custody, a providence that ensures to the best of our ability that all our timber comes from only managed sources.

Q Is fitting timber windows much more expensive than UPVC.
A - It can be two to three times the cost of plastic depending on what you have.
However, it has been proven by leading estate agents that fitting timber windows to your property will add value where by upvc in the wrong setting will detract from its value.

Q What about maintenance?
A - Like all natural materials wood needs looking after. We use modern water based paints and stains that have a long life expectancy depending upon where you live. To redecorate these products just wipe the surface an apply a new coat. Upvc deteriorates from
